The bus collided with the bike the father and daughter were traveling on, the daughter died on the spot

The daughter was killed and the father seriously injured when a Seabird bus collided with a wheeled vehicle on National Highway-66 at Binaga in Karwar city of Uttara Kannada district.

Lavita Jorge Fernandez (13) is the girl who died in the accident. The girl's father George Fernandez (41) was seriously injured.

A bus of Sea Bird Company coming from Bangalore to Karwar collided with a scooty from Binaga to Karwar from behind. In the incident, the girl hit her head on the road and died on the spot.

The seriously injured girl's father has been admitted to Karwar Government Hospital and is being treated. A case has been registered in the Karwar Nagar traffic police station in this regard.
